The safety of Opalescence® PF 20% Mint 8pk is similar to carbamide
peroxide whitening.

After removing
the cap from the Opalescence syringe tip, express the contents
evenly into the deepest portion of the tray and toward the
facial sides of the tray. One-third to two-thirds of the syringe
will be necessary for each application.

Seat the tray
completely over your teeth. Press gently against the faces of
your teeth. Gently remove any excess gel that may flow beyond
the tray's edge. Rinse your mouth twice, using care not to
swallow.

The soft tray
containing the gel is usually worn while sleeping, but can be
worn at any time of the day for one to three hours.

After the
prescribed time, remove the tray. Brush and rinse the gel from
your teeth and the tray. Let the tray dry and then store the
tray in a baggie.

Wear as little
as 30 minutes per day!

Opalescence® PF 20% is a thick solution, which is
dispensed to patients by a dentist and applied by the patient at
home using a clear and inconspicuous custom fitted tray. The unique
"scalloped" tray with reservoirs was developed to minimize tray
contact and peroxide gel exposure to soft tissues.
The Opalescence
PF sticky formula does not leach from the tray as did former tooth
whitening preparations.
Approximately 95% of the time for removing some or all of the
discoloration and/or stains due to natural, congenital, systemic,
pharmalogic, traumatic, etc. Success is most always
obtained with fluorosis and to significant degrees with tetracycline
staining, depending on the patient compliance and/or duration of
treatment.
